Lavrov: No advancement towards Ukrainian ceasefire at Berlin talks (Part 2)

BERLIN. Aug 18 (Interfax) - Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has stated the lack of advancement towards a ceasefire in Ukraine at the negotiations with his Ukrainian, French and German colleagues.

"As to the areas in which we are so far unable to report positive results, these are the areas of ceasefire and the political process, in the first turn," Lavrov told reporters on Monday.

Lavrov described the ceasefire as the most pressing task because people are dying and civilian infrastructure is being destroyed.
