MOSCOW. Aug 22 (Interfax) - The second batch of the Russian humanitarian cargo has been inspected by Russian customs officers, but there are no Ukrainian customs officers at the inspection site for some reason, Rossiya 24 television has reported.
"Literally some thirty minutes ago, the second batch of the vehicles carrying humanitarian aid entered the territory of the customs control zone and the Russian customs officer have not yet completed all necessary procedures, inspection and clearance, but their Ukrainian colleagues are not at the inspection site for some reasons," a special correspondent with Rossiya 24 reported.
According to Rossiya 24, the vehicles will be able to leave for Donbas and take the aid to Luhansk as soon as all procedures are completed.
"The second batch is now composed of some 34 vehicles. This means that some sixty vehicles are now crossing the border. The rest of the vehicles are now heading to the checkpoint," the Rossiya 24 correspondent reported.
