Lavrov hopes to discuss Ukraine's humanitarian crisis in Minsk (Part 2)

MOSCOW. Aug 25 (Interfax) - Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov hopes that at their meeting in Minsk on August 26 the presidents of the Customs Union member states and Ukraine, as well as representatives from the European Union, will call for the humanitarian crisis in east Ukraine to be resolved.

"We certainly hope that tomorrow's meeting in Minsk will touch upon the problem of the humanitarian crisis in any particular format," Lavrov told a press conference in Moscow on Monday.

"We hope that all attendees will call for the humanitarian aid to be delivered unimpeded to anyone in need of it in southeast Ukraine," the Russian minister said.
