KYIV. Sept 2 (Interfax) - Fifty-four Ukrainian border guards have died in the army operation in eastern Ukraine, the Ukrainian State Border Service reported.
"The hostilities in eastern Ukraine have killed 54 border guards," the service said in a report posted on its website.
The service noted the data was valid as of September 1.
