Crimean parliament nationalizes Ukrainian tycoon Kolomoisky's assets in Crimea

SIMFEROPOL. Sept 3 (Interfax) - The State Council of Crimea on Wednesday nationalized Ukrainian tycoon and Dnipropetrovsk administration chief Ihor Kolomoisky's assets in Crimea, an Interfax correspondent reports.The Crimean legislature passed the decision in a package with a number of other resolutions; it was supported by 70 out of the 100 lawmakers.

"The property belonging to Mr. Kolomoisky will be sold via auction, and the money will be spent on the compensation for the deposits [by Crimean residents in PrivatBank belonging to Kolomoisky] that cannot be refunded through the Depositors Protection Fund," acting head of the Crimean administration Sergei Aksyonov said at the State Council session.
