Two killed in helicopter crash in Gelendzhik - Emergency Situations Ministry

ROSTOV-ON-DON. Sept 3 (Interfax) - Two people have been killed and one more injured after an Mi-8 helicopter crashed at the Gelendzhik airport, the Southern regional center of the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry told Interfax on Thursday.

"An Mi-8 helicopter crashed at the Gelendzhik airport while approaching to land. It is known that the helicopter belongs to a commercial company," it said.

The causes of the crash have yet to be determined.
