Self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic will cease fire if Kyiv honors its obligations reached in Minsk

MOSCOW. Sept 5 (Interfax) - The leadership of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) welcomes the ceasefire agreement reached in Minsk but warns that a ceasefire is possible only if Kyiv delivers on its commitments that it undertook at the consultations on Friday.

"We welcome the Minsk agreements and favor a political settlement of the conflict," Myroslav Rudenko, a militia leader and a member of the DPR Supreme Council, told Interfax on Friday.
