Prison chief abducted in Donetsk

KYIV. Oct 7 (Interfax) - Unidentified assailants have abducted the head of Prison No.82 in Donetsk.

A criminal inquiry has been opened in this connection on counts of organized armed abduction of a person carrying health hazards for the hostage and causing him physical suffering, the Donetsk regional police department reported.

The prison chief was abducted from his home, it said.
