MOSCOW. Oct 8 (Interfax) - Latvian television footage in which it was claimed that the Russian Embassy in Latvia was helping recruit volunteers in the Baltic country to fight in eastern Ukraine is a "concoction" and "deliberate anti-Russian provocation," the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
"One would wonder what made a state television channel broadcast something that's total rubbish, if it hadn't been deliberate anti-Russian provocation. We see this as one more example of the use of patent concoctions for unseemly ends," spokesman Alexander Lukashevich said.
The show was broadcast on the Panorama program on September 14.
