Artillery attack kills one civilian Donetsk City Council says

KYIV. Oct 29 (Interfax) - A civilian was killed in an artillery attack in Donetsk on Tuesday night, says a report posted on the City Council website.

"Tensions persisted in the city overnight. The Kuibyshevsky and Kyivsky districts came under artillery fire in the afternoon of October 28. A house was razed at 56, Raduzhna Street and one civilian was killed," the report said.

The city was relatively calm as of 10 a.m. Moscow time on Wednesday.

Public service utilities were operating well.

In turn, the press center of the army operation in Donbas reported that the militia had bombarded Ukrainian positions at Donetsk airport and in the populated localities of Mius, Chornukhyne and Nikishyne. "Ukrainian servicemen did not suffer any casualties last night," the press center wrote on Facebook.

Ukrainian positions were not attacked in the Luhansk region, the press center said.
