TIRASPOL. Oct 30 (Interfax) - Moldova has left Transdniestria's request that it clarify its refusal to issue essential certificates to Transdniestrian agricultural producers to export their produce and the opening of criminal cases against a number of Transdniestrian officials unanswered, says Nina Stanski, the foreign minister of the self-proclaimed Transdniestrian Moldovan Republic.
Speaking to journalists on Thursday, Stanski said these questions had been passed to Chisinau through Radojko Bogojevic, the special representative of the OSCE chairperson-in-office for the Transdniestrian settlement process.
"No answer has come. Surely, we are frustrated by such an approach. I consider this practice outrageous, because, when one of the participants in negotiations refuses to maintain dialogue with its direct partner and at the same time paralyzes the OSCE's capabilities as a mediator, it's hard to talk about any prospects," Stanski said.
Bogojevic has visited Tiraspol for the second time this week. His previous meeting with Stanski took place on October 28.
Bogojevic said he expected that, despite the lack of reaction from Chisinau, his shuttle diplomacy mission would be productive.
He said his meetings in Chisinau resulted in an agreement that Transdniestrian and Moldovan experts on education, telecommunications, the media, and economic issues would meet in the near future.
