MOSCOW. Nov 6 (Interfax-AVN) - It is unclear whether Russia has decided to resume supplies of its S-300 air defense missile systems to Syria, according to a source from one of the government agencies in charge of military-technical cooperation.
"Even if the decision has been made, we know nothing about it yet," he told Interfax on Thursday
He was commenting on the claim by Syrian Foreign Minister Walid Muallem that Moscow was planning to supply S-300 air defense missile systems to Damascus in the very near future.
"There have been no instructions recently to prepare the equipment for delivery to Syria," the source said.
