Fourth Iskander-M brigade set to be delivered to Russian army in November

KOLOMNA, Moscow region. Nov 10 (Interfax) - The Kolomna Machine Building Design Bureau will deliver its second set of Iskander-M operative tactical missiles this year to the Russian Defense Ministry on November 18, the bureau's press service has reported.

"This would be the fourth set supplied in the past two years under a contract between the Defense Ministry and the Kolomna Machine Building Design Bureau," says a report seen by Interfax-AVN on Monday.

The set will be handed over to the 92nd missile brigade of the Second Guard Combined-Arms Army of the Central Military District.

A brigade set of Iskander-M operative tactical missile systems consists of 51 vehicles, including twelve launchers, twelve transporter-loaders, eleven command vehicles, 14 support vehicles, one maintenance vehicle, one data processing post, as well as precision guided missiles, ammunition and training equipment.
