MOSCOW. Jan 13 (Interfax) - The board of directors at United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) will vote on terminating the contract of the corporation's president, Mikhail Pogosyan, at a meeting on January 16, UAC said in a statement.
"The decision to convoke the board meeting was made by the shareholders," UAC told Interfax, adding that it would necessary to ask the government about the reasons for this.
The board will discuss the election of a new UAC president, the terms and signing of a contract with the UAC president, and consent for the president and CEO to combine duties "in the governing bodies of other organizations."
Pogosyan has been UAC president since February 2011.
