Lavrov insists on urgent Contact Group meeting

MOSCOW. Jan 14 (Interfax) - Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has called for swift employment of the potential of the Contact Group on Ukraine.

"In Berlin, the foreign ministers of Russia, Ukraine, Germany and France called for the Contact Group to convene promptly. This is the sole platform representing both sides to the conflict, and it is necessary to employ its potentials in full as soon as possible," Lavrov told a press conference in Moscow.
