KYIV. Jan 15 (Interfax) - The death toll of an artillery strike at a bus near Vilnovakha, near Donetsk, on Tuesday rose to 13 on Wednesday as a man injured in the attack died in the hospital, the coordinator of Rinat Akhmetov's Pomozhem (Let us Help) foundation said.
"Yesterday a terrible tragedy took place near Vilnovakha, with civilians getting killed. One more person died in the hospital in Vilnovakha this morning. The number of fatalities has reached 13," Rimma Fil told a briefing.
Interfax has not yet been able to obtain confirmation.
The Ukrainian military and the Donetsk militia blame each other for the attack, which left 18 people injured besides killing at least 12.
