MOSCOW. Jan 15 (Interfax) - Preparations for a meeting in Astana between the leaders of the so-called Normandy Quartet, i.e. Ukraine, Russia, Germany, and France, are continuing, and its date will be reported later, Kremlin press secretary Dmitry Peskov said.
"Preparations for this meeting are still under way," Peskov told Interfax.
A special report will be made when everything is ready for the meeting, he said.
The Kazakh presidential press service had reported earlier on Thursday that a meeting between the Ukrainian, Russian, German, and French leaders in Astana was scheduled for the end of January.
