MOSCOW. Jan 16 (Interfax-AVN) - Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin has commented on the outcomes of the Russian-Venezuelan talks in Moscow held during a Moscow visit by Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro on Thursday.
"Among the most interesting joint industrial projects are: the opening of a regional helicopter service center, an assembly facility for Kamaz cars, licensed production of AK-103 rifles and ammunition in Venezuela , as well as the supplying of Russian aircraft for the Venezuelan fleet of civil aircraft," Rogozin wrote on Twitter.
It was reported earlier that the Russian and Venezuelan leaders had "held a detailed discussion of the progress in implementing joint projects." Russian President's Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov told Interfax on Thursday that "the presidents of Russia and Venezuela, Vladimir Putin and Nicolas Maduro, and their delegation members called for intensification of the joint projects in various areas, including energy."
They also called for the joint intergovernmental commission to step up its work, and "reaffirmed their willingness to make vigorous steps to make up for the drop in bilateral trade that occurred last year."
The meeting also "focused in detail on the situation on the world crude oil markets," Putin's spokesman said.
