Zakharchenko may attend Minsk talks at signing stage - Purgin

MOSCOW. Jan 20 (Interfax) - The leaders of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) have not ruled out the possiblity that the DPR leader Alexander Zarkharchenko could attend another round Contact Group talks in Minsk, provided his safety is assured.

"There is no definite answer yet. Perhaps, he will be able to take part in the Minsk group at the stage of signing some documents, if he is guaranteed his safety. Besides, Kyiv's claims of recognizing him a suspect and a wanted man could be just that - claims. We have seen this many times before," DPR People's Council speaker Andrei Purgin told Interfax on Monday.
