Five Ukrainian servicemen killed, 23 wounded in Donbas in past 24 hours

KYIV. Jan 30 (Interfax) - Five Ukrainian servicemen were killed and another 23 injured in the army operation zone in eastern Ukraine in the past 24 hours, acting spokesman for the Ukrainian General Staff Vladyslav Seleznyov said.

"Ukraine lost five servicemen killed and 23 suffered injuries of varying severity in the bombardments and clashes. All the wounded were taken to hospital," Seleznyov said at a press briefing on Friday.

In all, 390 servicemen are receiving hospital therapy and eleven of them are in grave condition, he said.
