Syrian resolution should reflect Moscow talks' experience - Lavrov tells Kerry

MOSCOW. Feb 9 (Interfax) - Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and the United States Secretary of State John Kerry exchanged their views on the situation around Syria on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference.

"Lavrov stressed the need to facilitate the launch of a full-scale political dialogue between Damascus officials and the opposition, including in the light of the January intra-Syrian meeting in Moscow," the Russian Foreign Ministry said on its Facebook page.

The pair also discussed prospects for the negotiating process over Iran's nuclear program, the situation in Yemen and a number of other pressing international issues, the ministry said.
