MUNICH. Feb 9 (Interfax) - Russia could consider prospects of returning to the old-format contacts with NATO, including along military lines, the moment the Alliance demonstrates the same readiness, said Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
"When NATO demonstrates readiness, we, too, could consider prospects of returning to such formats," Lavrov told reporters on the sidelines of the Munich security conference.
He also said that during the conference NATO officials showed interest in continuing dialogue with Russia, including along military lines, and also in controlling and coordinating air space.
"We said it was NATO structures that terminated all kinds of practical cooperation, including cooperation between the military and in joint controls over air space," Lavrov said.
