Contact Group could dicuss Normandy quartet's plan in Minsk - Luhansk republic envoy

MOSCOW. Feb 9 (Interfax) -The Contact Group's next meeting on Ukraine, which will probably take place in Minsk on Tuesday, could discuss the document negotiated by the Normandy quartet.

"We are to discuss a document, proposed by [German Chancellor Angela] Merkel, and [French President Francois] Hollande during talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin and with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko. I am not familiar with the contents of this document so far," Vladislav Deinego, the self-proclaimed Luhansk People's Republic's chief negotiator at the Minsk talks, told Interfax.

The Kremlin press service earlier reported that the Russian, Ukrainian, German and French leaders agreed in telephone talks that the joint work to plan comprehensive measures to settle the crisis in southeastern Ukraine will be continued by experts in Berlin on February 9, which will be followed by a meeting of the Contact Group. The goal is to prepare an agenda for the Normandy format summit in Minsk on February 11.
