YEREVAN. Feb 10 (Interfax) - Armenian President Serzh Sargsian and EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus Herbert Salber met in Yerevan on Monday to discuss the Karabakh peace process.
"To a certain extent, the militant and destructive moves of Azerbaijan are encouraged by general and untargeted statements [the international community makes] over any worrisome incidents," a source in the Armenian Presidential Administration told Interfax.
"Yet fairness requires that a thing be called a thing in order to prevent similar situations in the future," the Armenian president said.
In turn, Salber confirmed the EU support for the efforts of the OSCE Minsk Group and said that the European Union would use every chance to promote peace in Nagorno-Karabakh.
