MOSCOW. Feb 10 (Interfax) - Ukrainian pilot Nadezhda Savchenko, who is charged with abetting the killing of Russian journalists in Russia, said she will continue her hunger strike.
"I will continue my hunger strike. Today is the 60th day. I will continue my hunger strike until I return to Ukraine, where I was abducted, or until my death in Russia," Savchenko said in the Basmanny Court on Tuesday.
She flatly denies all charges against her. "This show needs to stop. I don't owe anything to the people of Russia, and I will deal with what I owe to the people of Ukraine when I return," she said.
