Russia allows launch of Ukrainian Dnepr LV with S. Korean satellite

MOSCOW. Feb 10 (Interfax-AVN) - Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has signed an order allowing the use, on a contractual basis, of space and military systems for the launch of the KompSat-3A satellite (South Korea) atop an RS-20B rocket.

The document is available on the official legal news portal.

It was reported earlier that the Russian Federal Space Agency suspended its participation in the Russian-Ukrainian "Dnepr" project for the use of converted RS-20B strategic missiles for space launches.

The South Korean satellite is due to be launched from the Dombarovsky launch pad in Russia's Orenburg region. The RS-20B (Dnepr) intercontinental ballistic missile will be launched for decommissioning purposes, the document reads.
