MOSCOW. Feb 10 (Interfax) - Mobilization is well underway in the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic with up to 120 citizens signing up for the militia each day, Donetsk News Agency reported on Tuesday.
"Between 100 and 120 volunteers, aged 18 to 50, sign up for the militia on a daily basis," the chief of the Military Commandant's Office's military training department was quoted as saying.
He said mobilization was voluntary.
Leader of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic Alexander Zakharchenko's order on voluntary mobilization took effect on Monday, military spokesman for the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic Eduard Basurin said.
