Several working groups to appear in Ukraine Contact Group

MINSK. Feb 12 (Interfax) - Working groups responsible for various aspects of the Minsk agreements will be set up within the trilateral Contact Group for Ukraine.

This point is included in a set of measures aimed at implementing the Minsk agreements that was signed by the Contact Group in Minsk on Thursday.

The document demands an "intensification of the trilateral Contact Group's work, including by creating working groups responsible for the implementation of different aspects of the Minsk Agreements. They will reflect the composition of the trilateral Contact Group."

It was signed by Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe Special Representative Heidi Tagliavini, former Ukrainian President Leonid Kuchma, Russian Ambassador to Ukraine Mikhail Zurabov, as well as the heads of the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics, Alexander Zakharchenko and Igor Plotnitsky.
