HAVANA (Cuba). Feb 13 (Interfax-AVN) - Russian Defense Minister Gen. Sergei Shoigu has arrived in Cuba on an official visit. He will be conferring on bilateral military-technological cooperation issues with the Cuban administration on February 13-14, Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov told reporters.
The Russian defense minister is planned to negotiate with the President of the Cuban Council of State and Council of Ministers, Raul Castro, Konashenkov said.
"The sides will be discussing essential defense and military-technological cooperation issues," he added.
