DONETSK. Feb 16 (Interfax) - The Defense Ministry of the self-proclaimed DPR has suggested that the Ukrainian troops who are now encircled near Debaltseve lay down their weapons and leave, without surrendering as POWs.
"We propose to open a corridor for them to lay down their weapons and come out. We don't even ask them to surrender," Eduard Basurin of the Defense Ministry of the DPR, told reporters.
