Ukraine military: militias breach truce on 4 occasions on Feb 25

KYIV. Feb 26 (Interfax) - The command of the Ukrainian military operation in eastern Ukraine said on Wednesday evening that militias had breached the 10-day-old ceasefire on four occasions during the day.

"Around 10:30 a.m. and 5 p.m., militants opened fire from a tank on Shyrokyne, which is in the Mariupol area. Besides that not far from the Donetsk airport, criminals fired on the village of Pisky, using small arms. Around noon, bandit units made an unsuccessful attempt to storm our positions there," the command said on Facebook.

No attacks had been recorded near Debaltseve or in Luhansk region on Wednesday, however, it said.

"Moreover, enemy drones have been showing remarkable activity. Our air defense forces detected one such aerial vehicle near Novy Aidar," the command said.
