KRASNOYARSK. March 2 (Interfax) - The Sukhoi Civil Aircraft company and Vnesheconombank (VEB) are in talks on the delivery of Sukhoi Superject aircraft to European and Asian countries, VEB first deputy chairman Pyotr Fradkov told journalists on the sidelines of the Krasnoyarsk economic forum on Saturday.
"Deals with Asian countries and some countries in Europe, including Western Europe, are under discussion," Fradkov said.
The talks are "at the stage of signing commercial terms," he said. He did not specify the date when the agreements may be signed.
Fradkov did not rule out that European insurance agencies may take part in the deal. "This is an issue of talks and commercial feasibility," he said.
VEB is funding supplies of Sukhoi Superjet to foreign countries.
