MOSCOW. March 11 (Interfax) - The administration of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) expects interference by the "Normandy Four" to bring peace to the process in Donbas.
"The military and political situation exacerbates every day. We have already gone beyond the schedule approved in the 'set of measures,' the situation is so tense that any provocation may provoke a new escalation of the conflict. I think we should wait for the 'Normandy Four' meeting, that is, decisions should be made by those who guarantee the fulfillment of the agreements, which are currently not being fulfilled through the fault of Kyiv. The process needs to go back to peace," Andrei Purgin, speaker of the DPR People's Council, told Interfax on Wednesday.
