SUKHUM. March 16 (Interfax) - Abkhaz Prime Minister Beslan Butba intends to leave his post.
"Today I have told the president of Abkhazia about my resignation," Butba told Interfax on Monday, adding the statement was not made in writing.
"As prime minister, I have been cut off from most cases lately. A second government has practically been created in the presidential administration. I have no intention of just staying in this post," he said.
At the same time, Butba reiterated that "Abkhaz President Raul Khadzhimba has not accepted his resignation yet."
Interfax has no comments to this statement from the president of Abkhazia.
