Ministry: Russia, China discuss nuclear problem of Korean Peninsula

MOSCOW. March 24 (Interfax) - Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Igor Morgulov has discussed the Korean Peninsula situation with Wu Dawei, Special Representative of the Chinese Government on Korean Peninsula Affairs.

"Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Morgulov met with Wu Dawei, Special Representative of the Chinese Government on Korean Peninsula Affairs, in Beijing on March 24," says a report published on the Russian Foreign Ministry website on Tuesday.

"The sides exchanged opinions on the nuclear problem on the Korean Peninsula with emphasis on the need for soonest resumption of the six-nation negotiations," the ministry reported.
