Karasin travels to Paris for Ukraine four-party talks (Part 2)

MOSCOW. March 24 (Interfax) - Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin has said he is heading to Paris on Wednesday to attend talks over Ukraine with his German, French and Ukrainian counterparts.

"It was decided to hold these talks at the level of deputy foreign ministers, and I am flying out to Paris tomorrow morning," he told Interfax.

At the meeting the attendees will "hear reports by the OSCE (Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe) representative in the Contact Group on Ukraine, Heidi Tagliavini, and Ambassador Ertugrul Apakan (the head of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission in Ukraine) who knows the situation on the ground," the Russian diplomat said.

"We will collate the facts and discuss the process of implementation of the Minsk agreements," Karasin said.
