MOSCOW. March 24 (Interfax) - The snap inspection of combat readiness and combat capabilities of the Russian Armed Forces on March 16 - 21 was only the first one in 2015, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.
"This only the beginning of this year's drills in the Armed Forces," Putin said at a meeting with the defense minister and the chief of the Russian Armed Forces General Staff.
The defense ministry has rated the results of the drills as "being positive," Putin said.
