MOSCOW. March 24 (Interfax-AVN) - The Russian Federal Space Agency (Roscosmos) has set the task of significantly increasing the Russian orbital group by 2020, the agency's Scientific-Technical Council chief Yury Koptev told reporters on Tuesday.
"The number of telecommunications and broadcasting satellites will be increased from 24 in 2014 to 42 in 2020; remote sensing satellites , from four to ten; weather satellites, from two to eleven; research satellites, from two (in reality, one) to nine," Koptev said.
