Settlement of Iran nuclear problem requires UNSC resolution - Ryabkov

LAUSANNE. April 3 (Interfax) - The P5+1 group and Iran will not be able to implement measures to resolve Tehran's nuclear problem either politically or judicially in the absence of a UN Security Council resolution, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov has said.

"Before finalizing this agreement, we will have to agree upon its key parameters and determine a more precise framework within which the reached agreements will be translated into the language of engineering applications and understandings. There is also a need for a UN Security Council resolution, without which these measures cannot be implemented either politically or judicially. At this stage, we have the main points which can be described as reference rules," he said.

"I cannot say that we reached a 100% understanding on absolutely all aspects concerning the outlines of a final agreement," he said.

"Certain disagreements remain. But we are not dramatizing them," Ryabkov said.
