MOSCOW. April 6 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has permitted the Interior Ministry to attach its officers to OSCE missions, including those operating in foreign states.
"The Russian Interior Ministry, with the consent of the Russian Foreign Ministry, is permmitted to attach officers of Russian law enforcement authorities to missions of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) and OSCE projects and programs carried out in foreign states," the chief of state said in an order published by the official legal data portal on Monday.
The document said that the OSCE would cover expenditures related to the attachment of Interior Ministry officers to OSCE missions.
The order was signed on Monday, April 6, and took effect on the same date.
