MOSCOW. April 9 (Interfax-AVN) - Russian inspectors will visit a Norwegian military facility consistent with the 2011 Vienna Document on confidence building measures and security, the Russian Defense Ministry said.
"The North brigade stationed in Tromso in northwestern Norway will be inspected in a one-day visit on April 9, 2015," head of the National Nuclear Threat Reduction Center Sergei Ryzhkov told reporters.
"The inspectors will pay a visit to the brigade staff at its peace-time location and be briefed by the command on the brigade personnel, armaments and hardware," Ryzhkov said.
Vienna Document inspections "verify information about military forces and plans of the deployment of main types of armaments and hardware," he said.
