Lavrov asks Normandy Four colleagues to prevent Minsk deal sabotage

MOSCOW. April 9 (Interfax) - Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said he had sent messages to Normandy Four colleagues before their ministerial session demanding the prevention of sabotage of the Minsk deal.

"While preparing for that meeting, I sent new messages to my colleagues from Germany, France and Ukraine. The messages insisted that it was necessary to stop stalling the Minsk agreements," he said at a press conference on Thursday, after negotiations with Belgian Foreign Minister Didier Reynders.

The Normandy Four foreign ministers will converge in Berlin on April 13.
