MOSCOW. April 9 (Interfax) - There will be exercises in all military districts, services and branches of the Russian Armed Forces this year, in addition to operative exercises held by Russia and Belarus, President Vladimir Putin said at a ceremony of presentation of top-ranking officers in the Kremlin.
"Over 3,500 exercises have been held on various levels over the past year. This year's checks will involve all military districts and services and branches of the Armed Forces. Besides, Russia and Belarus will hold the operative drills Union Shield 2015 and strategic exercises Center 2015," Putin said.
