KYIV. April 27 (Interfax) - European Council President Donald Tusk said the European Union would send a civil mission to Ukraine as soon as it is practical.
He said at a joint press conference with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and European Commission President Jean-Claude Junker in Kyiv on Monday that in fact a discussion had begun about possible security and defense solutions. But now, as before, one can only talk about a civil, not military, fact-finding mission, he said.
