Opposition Bloc accuses Rada coalition of Minsk deal sabotage

KYIV. May 18 (Interfax) - Yuriy Boyko, the leader of the Opposition Bloc group in the Verkhovna Rada, has accused the coalition of sabotaging the Minsk deal.

"In our opinion, the ruling coalition is sabotaging [the fulfillment of the Minsk agreements]," Boyko said at a meeting of the conciliatory council of Rada factions, committees and groups in Kyiv on Monday.

He reminded the audience that his faction had submitted ten draft laws which could promote the fulfillment of the Minsk agreements.

"It was said at your office [the office of Verkhovna Rada Speaker Volodymyr Hroysman] last week that if you did not like our laws then we should gather together, and the ruling coalition should draw up its own laws supporting the Minsk agreements and present them at a session," Boyko said.

The parliament coalition has done nothing, he added. "We think this is a direct act of the ruling coalition's sabotage of the process of settling the armed conflicts and implementing the Minsk agreements," the Opposition Bloc group leader said.
