MOSCOW. May 18 (Interfax) - Washington is interested in searching for solutions to the problems in its bilateral relationship with Russia.
"We even sensed a certain interest on the U.S. part in jointly searching for a solution, but I want to stress that this is not a result of some particular agreements, deals, exchanges or some compromises. This is not the subject matter of the conversation," Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said after the meeting with Nuland.
At the meeting the parties focused "on the difficult problematic aspects of the bilateral relations in all spheres, starting from the economy, where the U.S. sanctions pressure is, of course, being felt, to the humanitarian and military-political spheres," he said.
