LUHANSK. May 22 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian Armed Forces have breached ceasefire almost thirty times and four LPR militia have been wounded in the attacks, Igor Yashchenko, deputy head of the Luhansk People's Militia Corps headquarters, has said.
"The Ukrainian military have breached the ceasefire regime 27 times. There have been 21 mortar attacks and six attacks using grenade launchers and firearms," Yashchenko was quoted as saying by the Luhansk Information Center on Friday.
Yashchenko said attacks on the populated area Shchastya were especially frequent. Most of the attacks target the populated area Veselaya Gora, Oboznoye and the crossroads between these populated areas. This road is used by civilians, who are also in danger.
Yashchenko said four LPR militiamen have been hurt in the attack and that no civilians have been hurt.
"Additionally, the activities by investigative and subversive groups have increased," he said.
