Ukrainian Security Service to limit Russian diplomat access to Russian captives

KYIV. June 3 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian Security Service believes investigators should have proper conditions to work with the two Russian citizens arrested after being captured in the Luhansk region on May 16, which implies, inter alia, that visits of Russian diplomats to them should be limited.

"Let's give the investigators the chance to work," Vasyl Vovk, the chief of the Ukrainian Security Service's main investigations directorate, said at a press conference in Kyiv on Wednesday.

"If an embassy representative wants to visit his compatriots every day, he can't do that," Vovk said.
