ST. PETERSBURG. June 19 (Interfax) - Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has expressed concern over a recent surge of ethnic nationalism in the Balkans.
"It is a good opportunity for me to exchange opinions on the situations in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Balkans in general, bearing in mind an obvious surge of ethnic nationalism with signs of terrorism, which we have observed in Zvornik and most recently in Macedonia," Lavrov said at a meeting with Serb Republic (Bosnia and Herzegovina) President Milorad Dodik.
"In this context, we consistently support your policy to maintain the key principles of the Dayton agreements," the Russian minister said.
