DONETSK. June 23 (Interfax) - The overnight shelling in Dokuchayevsk killed a civilian, the Defense Ministry of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) said on Tuesday.
"One civilian was killed in Dokuchayevsk and another person suffered injury," a representative of the ministry told the Donetsk news agency.
According to him, Ukrainian servicemen were firing artillery guns and mortars on the town.
Dokuchayevsk administration head Yevgeny Bunyo told the Donetsk news agency that the Ukrainian army's attack on Dokuchayevsk lasted for more than an hour early in the morning of June 23.
The Defense Ministry of the self-proclaimed republic said also that one person was killed in the Donetsk Kuibyshevskyi district in last night's attack.
